This contemporary timeless still life, celebrates Australian flora through an abstracted interpretation of Eucalyptus Silver Princess and Banksia flowers. The bold brushstrokes create energy and flow, capturing a sense of floral richness and fullness through striking forms and masses of colour. The abstracted vase anchors the composition, its fluid contours adding to the sense of movement. Behind the arrangement cascading Hakea leaves extend the composition beyond the interior, drawing the natural world into the botanical still life.
